Copying your Canvas course site

It’s very common for instructors to copy a Canvas course from one semester’s site to another. When you are copying a site that contains a Terracotta experiment, though, you’ll need to take a few extra steps to ensure everything works properly, because you cannot copy a Terracotta experiment between courses.
To make that very clear within your course assignments list, you’ll see that assignments from an old Canvas course are tagged with OBSOLETE (this is just to tag them for you as assignments that need to be deleted and recreated):
You can, however, avoid this by using Terracotta’s export/import functionality to export your experiment from the old Canvas course, and then import it into the new one. See this article for more information: Moving your Terracotta experiment to another course site
