Adjusting your grade book item (Brightspace)

Start by clicking Grades at the top of your screen in your Brightspace course site.

You’ll notice that Terracotta has automatically created a grade book item associated with each Terracotta assignment.

If you would like to make your Terracotta assignment ungraded, you can remove credit by setting its points to 0 in Terracotta, and then editing your item within the Manage Grades tab.

In Manage Grades, click the arrow next to the assignment title, then click edit. In the Maximum Points filed, enter 0.01 (the lowest points value allowed). Change the weight to 0, and/or click the check box next to Exclude from Final Grade Calculation.
