Multiple Terracotta Deployments
Problem
If, when you open Canvas, you see two (or more) Terracottas listed in your left navigation, stop! You have a problem that will need to be solved by your institution’s Canvas admin before you proceed.
Some institutions add Terracotta to individual Canvas courses on an as needed/as requested basis, which is a great way to do it! Sometimes, though, wires cross and more than one admin will set up a deployment. If this happens, your students will likely get errors when they try to open or submit assignments.
Solution
If you have more than one Terracotta context in a single course:
Contact your institution’s Canvas admin, and let them know that you’ll need to have both deployments deleted.
The Canvas admin will then need to add one new deployment to your course, and then they will need to send the deployment IDs to support@Terracotta.education.
