Why does my Canvas assignment say OBSOLETE?

If you see an assignment title with the prefix “OBSOLETE” in your list of assignments in Canvas, it’s likely that you copied your Canvas course. Unfortunately, Canvas does not copy assignments created using Terracotta (it looks like they’re there, but they’re no longer linked to the correct Terracotta experiment, and will come up blank), so you’ll have to recreate them now.
On the bright side, you already have your assignment content. From inside your new Canvas course, click the Terracotta link in your left navigation. This will open the Terracotta experiment builder. Rebuild your experiment and assignments. Terracotta will create them automatically in Canvas. Once they appear, set your open and close dates and publish the assignments like you would for any other Canvas assignment.
Delete your OBSOLETE assignments from your Canvas course.
