Viewing (and grading) students' file submissions

Terracotta allows for assignments that ask students to submit files of just about any type (smaller than 10MB). To see those files, begin by navigating to the Status tab, where you’ll see your Exposure Sets.

Click the down arrow to show the different assignments within that Exposure Set. You’ll see the number of submissions that have come in for each one.

Then, click the title of the assignment you’d like to open (we’ll open “File submission test 8/22”). Be patient; it may take a moment to load. As you see below, there is one submission for this assignment.

Click the student’s name to see that the submission.

And finally, click the file icon to download the file to your computer, and then open it as you normally would.

To grade the assignment, click the empty box and add the number of points the student earned.

Finally, click SAVE to save the score.
